About temperature units
The only category here whose conversion is not pure multiplication. Celsius and Fahrenheit each have an offset (32 °F = 0 °C) and a different scale (180 °F per 100 °C). Kelvin shares the Celsius scale but starts at absolute zero — useful in science, almost never in everyday life.
Privacy
Every conversion above runs as a small JavaScript function in your browser. The values you type are never sent to a server — see the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown of what stays on your device and what (very little) we log.
